Everything you need to know about the VMax collection and the reservation process.
A capsule home is a precision-built, factory-constructed dwelling designed to maximize comfort and livability within a compact footprint. Unlike tiny houses on wheels, capsule homes are permanent, foundation-set residences built to full HUD or state residential code standards.
Capsule homes are designed and built to a significantly higher standard than traditional manufactured housing. Our VMax homes feature residential-grade framing, premium insulation (R-40+), architectural finishes, and energy systems that meet or exceed site-built home standards. They are intended as permanent, appreciating residences — not temporary or mobile units.
VMax homes can be placed on any privately owned lot that is zoned for residential use and meets minimum size requirements. Placement in rural, suburban, and some urban settings is common. Zoning regulations vary by county and municipality — we recommend checking with your local planning department, and our team is happy to assist with pre-delivery site review.
When placed on owned land and permanently affixed to a foundation, capsule homes generally appreciate alongside local real estate markets. The combination of land value and quality construction makes them a sound long-term investment for many buyers.
The VMax collection offers two models at different sizes and price points — both sharing the same energy, structural, and off-grid-ready standards:
VMax X7 ($119,000) — 420 sq ft, 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Flagship with premium finishes, quartz countertops, and wide-plank hardwood floors.
VMax T7 ($89,000) — 280 sq ft, 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Essential model with the full VMax feature set at an accessible price.
Yes. While the VMax line ships with a thoughtfully curated standard package, we offer a range of factory-installed options including exterior color, cabinetry finish, flooring selections, and solar system upgrades. Full custom configurations are available — contact your advisor for details.
All VMax models are off-grid ready. Both the X7 and T7 come pre-wired for solar panel installation, include a tankless water heater, and feature high-efficiency mini-split HVAC systems. Battery storage integration and full solar packages are available as factory add-ons.
The VMax X7 has a standard build timeline of approximately 16 weeks from production start. The VMax T7 builds in approximately 14 weeks. Timeline begins after execution of a Purchase Agreement and confirmation of your site's readiness for delivery.
Your $1,000 Reservation Fee is 100% refundable as long as production has not yet commenced. To cancel and receive a full refund, send an email from the address used to make your reservation to Info@CapsuleHomesRUs.com.
Once production commences (triggered by your 50% production deposit), the reservation fee is applied toward the purchase of the capsule. If a Sales Agreement is executed with a 50% deposit but the final balance is not paid, a 33% restocking fee applies and the remaining balance is refunded to the original payor.
All VMax prices include delivery to major US container ports and customs clearance. Transportation from port to your final destination and installation services are available separately — contact us for a site-specific quote.
The $1,000 Reservation Fee does not lock in final pricing. After you submit your reservation, we will invite you to complete the full configuration of your VMax capsule, at which point you will receive a detailed breakdown of the final price. To begin production, a 50% deposit of the total configured price is required upon executing a Purchase Agreement.
